Landis+Gyr E320

Optical button blinker

Enters your meter PIN for a Landis+Gyr E320 by blinking light at its optical button — using the phone's torch, or the screen as a fallback. No pressing the physical button.

How it works

Type your 4-digit PIN on the keypad.
Choose the light source (top-right): Torch if your phone has a usable camera light, otherwise Screen flashes the whole display white.
Hold the phone flat against the meter's optical button.
Press Send PIN. After a short countdown, each digit is sent as that many light pulses — a 0 sends nothing and just waits.
Use the manual buttons to drive the menu directly: a short pulse scrolls, a long pulse selects or toggles.

Never send a long pulse while E, 1d, 7d, 30d or 365d is on the meter display — that opens “Clr on”, and confirming wipes those values permanently. Long pulses are only for InF and PIN.
